The Uruguay River Administrative Commission (CARU) successfully completed the dredging and beaconing of the Uruguay River from kilometer zero to the Gral Artigas bridge in Paysandú. For this project Quartz submitted 134 SEALITE buoys model SL-B1750 and SEALITE solar lanterns model SL-75. The large buoys, manufactured by rotational molding in virgin ABS plastic of colors defined by the IALA and filled with closed cell polyurethane, friendly to the environment. The SL-75 flashlights are of the latest LED beacon technology with a fully programmable range of 3 to 5 nautical miles. With BLUETOOTH communications, which makes unnecessary the tasks of dismantling from the buoy for its programming, reprogramming and technical control of good functioning.
